The post succeeding this will be a little out of order no doubt, but I'd feel too guilty uploading photos and writing an entry when I know I should be studying, so I'll postpone it a briefly and write this short note. It was thirty-two degrees today, so Sayaka, Moe, Miyuki and I went down to the park in Oji-kamiya (after she'd given me one of her せっかく作ったおふくろの味 puddings). Miyuki had bought Sayaka a giant Puri Kura bubble wand, so the two of us ran around in the scorching sun playing with it whilst Miyuki and Moe camped out in the shade.
That's all that happened today really, but it cheered me up after the fair few disappointments of the past fortnight or so. Tomorrow a lot of plans have been made, but I've recently converted to pessimism and suspect a high percentage will fall through. Otherwise I'm seeing lovely Moon, for whom I should probably devise a lesson plan, and must remember to bring her omiyage (after two months of it sitting at the back of my wardrobe).
I suppose I've decided typing uninteresting entries in lower case paints me as somewhat of a moron, but I'm concerned typing in this manner gives an equally lame impression. I haven't written properly for longer than I'm brave enough to say, so if anyone still reads this, please excuse me whilst I get back into the swing of things!

Had a haircut, the man remembered Ophelia and I from my last one, which was reassuring yet rather embarrassing considering how little my Japanese had improved in the past months. Ryan and Michael had class, but I timed the cut perfectly and we wandered over to Akasaka Palace together before it started to pour. Saw my first Tokyo rainbow though! Ended up at a party with a lot of the people from the Muse night, my first all-nighter in Japan, so I suppose it was nice to build a little on those acquaintances. A few days earlier, Miyuki-san and her husband, sister and two lovely daughters took me on a road trip to Kawagoe city. It poured all day, so we ate soba and bought oyatsu and squelched our way around little Edo. In spite of the rain, it was a wonderful day.
